Using My Binder

Last updated October 2026

The My Binder page is your workspace for inventory folders and the cards inside them. Use My Scans to upload card photos and confirm catalog matches into a folder. See My Scans for the full workflow.

Card conditions

Binder to Market uses TCGPlayer-aligned conditions: NM (Near Mint), LP (Lightly Played), MP (Moderately Played), HP (Heavily Played), and DMG (Damaged). These appear in My Binder, marketplace grids, and cart checkout.

Graded singles

Use Add graded on a folder toolbar (not Add card or My Scans) to list slabbed cards. Enter grader, grade, certification number, and upload front (and optionally back) cert/slab photos. Graded rows in your For sale folder need a front cert photo before they appear on the public card page.

Sealed and accessories

Booster boxes, packs, deck boxes, sleeves, and other non-card products are not added through My Binder. Use Product inventory to list from the platform catalog. If a product is missing, submit a catalog request from that page. See Product inventory for the review workflow.

CSV import and export

See Import & export CSV for TCGPlayer, ManaBox, Binder to Market export, native round-trip backups, and the import preview wizard.

For collectors

Folders. Create folders to group cards, for example by deck, set, or binder page. Expand a folder to load its cards. Use the folder controls to add new folders or remove folders where the product allows it. Some system folders may be protected. For sale, Personal collection, and Recently purchased stay at the top. Folders you create appear below those, A to Z.

Add cards from the catalog. Use the catalog flow to search titles. After four characters, matching names appear below. Picking one fills the box and runs the search. Then pick condition and finish options that match what you own. For Magic, choose the printing first. Hover a printing thumbnail to enlarge it, same as catalog search. Then choose Normal, Foil, or Etched when that print has more than one finish. List price starts empty. Click Use Listing, Use Market, or Suggested market under the box to fill a price when those numbers exist. Use Listing and Use Market are Binder medians. Suggested market is a catalog guide for the printing and condition. Changing condition refreshes the suggested amount. It does not overwrite an amount you typed. The Market column on a saved row uses the same 90-day sold median, or the live listing median if nothing has sold. For Sale rows also include View in shop for that printing (opens in a new tab). Open Details on any folder row for TCGplayer, eBay sold, CardTrader (when Binder has a blueprint id), and (for Magic) ManaPool reference links. For Magic, Details also lets you switch Normal, Foil, or Etched when that print has more than one finish. List price stays the same unless you change it. Catalog pickers on Add card and My Scans use the same links.

Scan or upload photos. Open My Scans to upload card photos. When matches come back, review each row. Confirm which catalog entry fits your card, fix quantities or foil where needed, and send confirmed rows into a folder. If recognition looks wrong, adjust fields before saving or skip unclear rows.

Move and tidy. Move individual cards between folders, or use Move selected to… when you have many cards selected. Bulk move sends every selected row in one request, including into For Sale, and refreshes the binder once. Full quantity on each row moves. Same printing already in For Sale within $0.05 combines. A larger list price gap becomes a second listing. A single-card move still asks how many copies when quantity is more than one, and can ask merge or split when For Sale prices differ. That helps after a big scan batch lands in one folder. A full move out of For Sale removes those copies from the Binder shop and ends opted-in eBay, ManaPool, and CardTrader listings when none remain for that listing.

Price labels. Sellers can print 2 by 1 inch price stickers from Personal collection or a custom folder. Use table price labels. Price the cards in For Sale first if you want the pricing queue, then move them, then print.

Filters. Narrow large folders with filters (game, set, name search, batch code, and other catalog facets). The name box matches the card name. You can type names without accents. Lorien finds Lórien Revealed. Type cardtext: then words to search rules text. After four characters, Advanced search suggests matching card names for the selected game. If Game is All, it searches every game. In Sets, type a name or code to find a set. Long lists show a short sample until you type. Checked options stay in the list. For Magic, Card type starts with the base types. Type to find a type line. Choosing a game shows every card you own for that game (Magic, Pokémon, and the others), not a subset of the catalog. If marketplace sync is granted, Advanced search also has Marketplace listings filters for eBay, ManaPool, and CardTrader (same entitlement as the For Sale List buttons). Choose Show only listed or Hide listed, then turn on one or more channels. More than one channel means either channel. Listing state (Active, Pending, Error) is per selected channel. Active and Pending are on by default. Turn on Error to find failed listings to clear. Filters apply for this visit only. They clear when you leave My Binder or refresh the page.

Box / Batch locations

Optional physical-location labels help you find cards when picking orders. A batch code like A1001 typically means box A1 and batch 001. Quantity can be split across multiple batches on one inventory row when you add stock at different times.

Setting a batch when adding inventory. On My Scans, the scan session bar has Box / Batch and Location note fields. Cards you confirm while a batch is set count toward that batch. See Box & batch tracking for the Batches page, per-game memory, and existing-batch warnings. When you Add card from the catalog on My Binder, the Card details step has the same fields. Leave them blank if you are not tracking location for that add.

Location notes add extra detail (for example "Shelf 3, blue bin"). They appear on seller pick lists when you use batch codes.

Viewing locations on cards. Each inventory row shows a batch summary. Open the popover when a card is split across batches. Unassigned means no batch was recorded when the card was added.

Finding cards by batch. Open Batches and click a code to jump to My Binder with that filter, or use Batch code in Advanced search within each folder. See Box & batch tracking for rename, delete, and game filters on the Batches page.

Changing batch codes (bulk reassignment). When a box moves or you rename a batch, apply the batch filter in Advanced search, select cards (per folder, Select all on this page, or Select all everywhere), then choose Change batch… and enter the target code and optional note. Only quantity allocated to the filtered source batch moves. Other allocations on the same card stay put. The target can be a new or existing batch code.

Finding unassigned cards. In Advanced search, enable Unassigned only to list cards that have quantity not allocated to any batch (within each folder). This filter cannot be combined with a batch code filter.

Assigning a batch to unassigned cards. With the unassigned filter applied, select cards and choose Assign batch…. Enter a target batch code and optional location note. Only unassigned quantity is allocated. Existing batch allocations on the same card are unchanged. Card total quantity does not change.

Reducing quantity. When you lower quantity on a card that is split across multiple batch locations (or has both batch and unassigned units), a prompt asks how many to remove from each batch. Single-batch or unassigned-only rows stay in sync automatically. Increasing quantity adds unassigned units. Use Assign batch… to allocate them later. Checkout and partial folder moves still use oldest-batch first (FIFO) for location picks.

Default acquired price (scan session). On My Scans, set Default acquired price (USD) on the scan session bar before uploading. New scan rows pre-fill from this value. When a default is set, each scan row uses it unless you choose Override acquired price for an outlier.

Acquired price on saved cards. The row Acquired price is a weighted average of copies where you entered a cost greater than zero. Confirming with cost blank or $0 increases quantity but does not lower an existing average. To fix cost after the fact, edit Acquired price on the inventory row to the new average for all copies (not a per-copy adjustment).

Fulfillment. Seller pick views show batch codes and notes from the checkout snapshot. Accurate batches make picking faster. See also Packaging and shipment standards.

For sellers

Sellers use the same My Binder page, with extra listing tools. Put inventory you want to sell in your For Sale folder. The list prices you set there are what buyers see on the shop.

If For Sale already has the same printing, finish, and condition, copies merge when the new list price is within 5 cents. A larger gap asks whether to Merge listings or Split into new listing. Merge adds quantity to the lowest existing price and uses the price you just entered unless you change it. Split keeps two listings. Two listings of the same card can create duplicate eBay offers. This prompt also appears when you move a card into For Sale. CSV import still merges within 5 cents and splits otherwise.

New sellers may have listing limits (distinct lines and total exposure). The My Binder ribbon shows listing rows, item copies, and listed value. A cap appears as used/max on that line. See Listing limits & seller tiers if you hit a cap.

If you cannot ship new Binder shop orders on time, turn on vacation mode in Seller settings. For Sale cards stay in this folder. They are hidden from the shop until you turn vacation off.

Keep quantities accurate when you sell or restock. Setting a For Sale quantity to 0 removes the row from My Binder and ends that listing on eBay, ManaPool, and CardTrader if it was opted in. Increasing or decreasing quantity on a listed For Sale row, or moving some copies out of For Sale, revises live quantity. Binder asks you to confirm those changes when a marketplace listing is opted in. The listing ends only when none of that identity remain For Sale. Cards sold down to zero on the Binder shop also leave active shop listings.

If marketplace sync is granted, For Sale rows can List or Unlist on eBay, ManaPool (ungraded Magic), and CardTrader. Each List or Unlist asks you to confirm first (one card or a bulk selection). After you confirm, the button stays disabled as Listing… or Unlisting… until that channel confirms. Use Advanced search Marketplace listings to show only cards listed on eBay, ManaPool, and/or CardTrader, including pending or error listings, or hide cards already listed so you can list the rest. On For Sale, after you Search, use Select all matching filter next to Select all on this page to select every matching card in that folder, not only the 20 on screen. That works for every Binder game. Then List or Unlist the selection. Listing many Magic cards at once is queued in the background and sent to ManaPool in batches. Changing condition (or printing) on a listed card revises the live eBay listing in place. ManaPool ends the old row and lists the new identity. Switching between ungraded and graded on eBay still ends and relists. A price-only edit revises the existing listing on both channels. See Multi-channel marketplace sync.

After checkout, fulfillment happens from your seller orders queue, not from My Binder. My Binder remains the place to adjust stock and prices for future buyers.

For physical shipments, follow Packaging and shipment standards. Funds for your portion are released only after you buy an in-app EasyPost USPS label from Seller orders, not before.
