Import & export CSV
Last updated October 2026
Use My Binder to organize inventory. Use Import CSV to bring in cards from spreadsheets or other apps. Export a Binder to Market CSV for backups, bulk edits, or migration between accounts.
Export
On My Binder, choose Export CSV in the header to download all folders or pick specific folders. Inside an expanded folder, Export folder downloads just that folder.
Files are named like bindertomarket-export-YYYYMMDD.csv. Each row includes catalog SKU, condition, quantity, list price, acquired price, folder name and type (for reference), display fields, batch allocation JSON, and unassigned quantity when applicable. Cards without a catalog SKU are omitted from export.
Import sources
- Binder to Market: Native format. Use this for round-trip backups and spreadsheet edits.
- TCGPlayer: Export from TCGPlayer Pricing → Export from Live. Binder to Market is not affiliated with TCGPlayer.
- ManaBox: Magic: The Gathering collection export. Matches via Scryfall ID.
Need a different CSV format? Email a sample file to [email protected]. The file must be under 1 MB.
Import wizard
Choose a source, upload your CSV, and pick one target folder. Then review the preview. Rows are grouped as matched, needs review, not in catalog, or failed. Confirm to apply accepted rows. When importing into For Sale, rows with a valid list price are listed there. Rows without a price go to your Personal collection instead. Same printing, finish, and condition rows merge when list prices are within 5 cents. A larger gap creates a second For Sale listing. CSV import does not show the merge or split prompt.
Native format reference (v1)
Required columns: catalog_variant_sku, condition, quantity.
Optional columns include format_version (always 1 on export), price, acquired_price, folder_name, folder_type, display fields, batch_allocations, and unassigned_quantity. Product rows use product: catalog SKUs with SEALED or NEW conditions. Graded rows may include grader, grade, cert_number, and cert_image_path.
batch_allocations is a JSON array, for example: [{"batch_code":"BIN-01","quantity":3,"note":"shelf A"}]
Round-trip notes
folder_name and folder_type are informational on re-import. You always choose a single target folder in the import wizard. Batch codes from export are restored when you confirm the import.
Limitations
- Native import and export require catalog SKUs. Custom rows without SKUs are skipped on export.
- Match rates vary by game and source (TCGPlayer Product ID vs Scryfall ID vs native SKU).
- Large files are subject to row and size limits on import.
- Export includes full folder contents, not advanced binder search filters.
