Seller refunds and Connect recovery
Last updated September 2026
When a buyer receives a refund on your order slice, we refund the buyer first. Then we attempt to reverse the proportional amount from your Stripe Connect transfer. If your Connect balance cannot cover the full reversal, the remaining amount is tracked as a recovery shortfall.
What you owe
Your seller settings show Refund recovery owed: the total open shortfall we will collect from future Connect payouts when funds are available. This is separate from public reviews and internal strike points.
How we collect
- Stripe transfer reversals when balance allows (including after you receive new payouts)
- Platform may retry clawback automatically or after you contact support
Large or repeated shortfalls can trigger listing suspension and trust strikes per our marketplace policies.
If you disagree
Contact support with your order and dispute details at [email protected]. Do not attempt to circumvent recovery by closing your Connect account while amounts remain owed.
